10 March 2026 - Online Workshop: Managing Disability in the Workplace - From Awareness to Action

Disability discrimination is the most prevalent ground for discrimination claims in Jersey.  More than 50% of all discrimination claims in Jersey arise from disability-related issues, making it essential for employers, managers and HR professionals to understand both the legal framework and the practical application of that framework in practice.

This 2-hour interactive scenario-based workshop, builds on content from Identifying and Tackling Discrimination in the Workplace but can also be attended as a standalone workshop.  It is designed for senior leaders, managers and in-house HR.

What we'll cover:

  • A brief recap of different types of discrimination in the workplace
  • Jersey’s definition of disability and how it applies in practice
  • The different forms disability discrimination can take
  • What are “reasonable adjustments” under Jersey law
  • How to manage disability-related issues proactively
